Carol-Ann first got her start in copy-editing after arriving in Cape Town in 1997 and deciding to do a Basic Copy-Editing course with McGillivray, Linnegar & Associates. She then, in 2000, became a member of the Professional Editors' Guild of which she is still a member today, continuing to train with them and keep abreast of current trends.
